East Islip High School is holding a Ford Drive One 4 UR School fundraiser on Saturday, May 12, to benefit the school’s Career Academy programs. The event will be held at the high school’s parking lot and will run from 9 a.m. through 1:30 p.m.

For every person (only one person per household) that test-drives one of the brand-new Ford vehicles on display, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to East Islip’s Career Academies. There is no charge to test-drive a Ford car, but participants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Guidance Director Israel Malinowitzer’s goal is for 300 to participate in this test-drive fundraiser. He said, “Please come and support East Islip High School’s Environmental Green and International Globalization Business Career Academy students, and the new Medical and Health Career Academy that will begin next year. I hope to see all of you there!”
